On 09.09.2014, at the Hall Ballroom of Furama Resort, Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism had successfully organized housekeeping busines contests in 2014 with the participation of 55 contestants from 37 hotels varied 1-5 star in the city, the Danang College of Tourism, and the Vietnam-Australia College.
It was the first time a municipal first-scale professional contest was held for housekeepers order to enhance learning and professional experience exchange, improve operations, professionalism and quality of customer service among all housekeeping hotel staff in the area of Da Nang
Through the preliminary round and practice exam making the basic bed, 19 contestants were excellent to pass to final round with handling situation skills. Ending the contest, the organizers awarded prizes to 19 contestants and 2 for the fans; specifically:
