On October 7, 2015 morning, Mr. Huynh Duc Tho – Chairman of Danang People’s Committee presided over a meeting with relevant department about architectural planning of Danang City – Han River and heard the report of the plan relating to connect the Vuong Thua Vu street with Ngo Quyen street.
Accordingly Mr. Huynh Duc Tho has instructed related departments including The Institue of Construction planning, Department of Construction and Department of Transportation to investigate about the construction of a new bridge, which will connect Vuong Thua Vu street (Son Tra District, crossover Hoang Sa street) to Ngo Quyen and Tran Hung Dao street as well as Dong Da street on the other side of the river (Hai Chau district).
This will be the 7th bridge crosses over Han River, beside solving traffic jams during rush hours on Han river bridge, this bridge will also be another tourism landmark for this beautiful river, making Danang truly become a city of bridges.
