On Thursday morning, the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a workshop in Can Tho City to promote Da Nang’s tourism. In attendance were representatives from the Culture, Sports and Tourism departments, tourism associations, and travel agencies in Can Tho and the Mekong Delta provinces.

In attendance were representatives from the Culture, Sports and Tourism departments, tourism associations, and travel agencies in Can Tho and the Mekong Delta provinces.
The participants were introduced to Da Nang’s popular tourist attractions, its modern infrastructure, and its special tourism products – beach, holiday, MICE and eco-tourism, as well as cultural, sports and tourism activities.
Also at the event, the “2014 Tourism Stimulus in Da Nang” programme, which is scheduled to be implemented from 1 August, was introduced. A total of around 20,000 discount vouchers giving between 10% and 50% off the city’s tourism services will be offered to visitors from across the country.
The Deputy Director of Da Nang’s department, Mr Tran Chi Cuong, pledged to create favourable conditions for both domestic and foreign visitors, and ensure a safe and friendly tourism environment.
An event to advertise Can Tho City’s tourism is expected to take place in Da Nang in August.
