The Da Nang Barefoot Run 2015 – 2016 will take place at the East Sea Park at 6am on 6 December.
The event is open to all sports lovers, and people intending to participate should register at the Bo Bien Ngoc Media Company at 139 Trieu Nu Vuong, Hai Chau District. The registration fee for participants is 50,000 VND and they will receive a T-shirt from the race organisers.
The event will consist of 3 races: 2km, 5km and 10km along the beaches of Hoang Sa, Vo Nguyen Giap and Truong Sa streets.
Organised by the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event aims to advertise the beauty of the city’s beaches and encourage people to do more physical exercise. It is expected that the event will be held annually to attract more tourists to the city.
