Update Situation Of Acute Respiratory Infections Caused By Ncov In Da Nang City On 01 02 2020

Danang city currently recognized another 7 cases under surveillance for Coronavirus (none of them are foreign patients).

Update the statistics of cases under observation of Coronavirus till 8am on 5th February.

  • There are 48 NEGATIVE cases of Coronavirus
  • No positive cases confirmed for Coronavirus.

At the moment, all the patients are under treatment and are recovering.

There are 35 cases under outpatient treatment. All remain healthy.

Supervision and preparation

  • The Centers for Disease Control also requests the Immigration Police and Customs at Da Nang International Airport to only consider and implement entry procedures for passengers and goods that have been undertaken medical declaration (with the seal of TESTED confirmation by the Health Quarantine agency on the medical declaration).
  • On February 4, the Center for Disease Control of the City supervised 138 aircraft, 02 ships with 7,077 foreign passengers coming into the city, detected 04 cases of passengers showing signs of mild fever, not departed  from the epidemic area, being monitored in the community (Da Nang: 03 cases, Quang Nam: 01 case).
  • Up to now, the district health centers have sprayed Chloramin B chemical to disinfect the environment to prevent acute respiratory infections caused by new strains of Corona virus at 540 schools, 59 markets, Central Bus Station and 135 other establishments in the city. Today 05/02/2020, there continues to spray other areas.

Quanrantines and Treatment

The Hospital for Women and Children has also established 03 Emergency teams for urgent actions. Up to now, the units assigned by the Department of Health for quarantine and treatment have set up quick response teams. In addition, Da Nang Hospital has set up two more Mobile Response Teams.
