From 13h30 on 18/3 to 8h00 on 19/3, in the city of Da Nang recorded 12 cases (10 Vietnamese, 01 Canadian, 01 Australian) suspected COVID-19.

  • A total of 679 NEGATIVE tests for Covid-19. A total of 4 POSITIVE cases of Covid-19
  • Currently, the health of the cases is stable and is being closely monitored.
  • Relating to close contact cases of the 4th COVID-19 patient in Danang. The Centers for Disease Control has collected eight close-contact (F1) samples, all negative for SARS-CoV-2, and will continue to sample the remaining cases.

Regarding the monitoring and prevention of COVID-19, on March 18, the Ministry of Health issued Decision No. 963 / QD-BYT promulgating the “Interim Guidance on COVID Monitoring and Prevention 19 ”.

Also on 18/3, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 disease prevention and control issued Official Letter No. 1371 / CV-BCD requesting People’s Committees of provinces and cities to review and verify passengers on flights to Vietnam. Nam and directed the Department of Health to coordinate with the district authorities in implementing measures to isolate and monitor the health of passengers on the following flights:

+ Account 162 of Turkey Airlines from Istanbul to Ho Chi Minh City on March 8, 2020.

+ QH 1521 of Bamboo Airways from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc on March 9, 2020.

+ QR Airways of Qatar Airways from Doha to Ho Chi Minh City on 10/3/2020.

+ Emirates Airlines EK 392 from Dubai to Ho Chi Minh City on March 12, 2020.

+ QH 1524 of Bamboo Airways from Phu Quoc to Ho Chi Minh City on March 13, 2020.

+ SU 290 from Aeroflot from March 12 to Moscow on March 13, 2020.

+ SQ 176 of Singapore Airlines from Singapore to Noi Bai on March 15, 2020.

+ TG 564 of Thai Airways from Bangkok to Noi Bai on March 15, 2020.

+ BR 395 from Eva Air from Taiwan to Ho Chi Minh City on March 16, 2020.
