Muc Dong Festival is a festival for the young Buffalo herders at Phong Le Village, Hoa Chau Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang City.A delegation of the herds-men includes a group of 60 buffaloes looked after by the children with mending clothes and rods.
The herds-boys hold the flags, walk around the village, wave the flags and yell under the supervision of Trum Chi, Trum Phu.Muc Dong Festival is the time for all members of the families in the village to come back to their hometown. The festival begins in the afternoon of the 29th March in Lunar Calendar.
