DIFF 2017 even more exciting with supporting events in theme of Shining with Marble Mountains

Danang International Fireworks Festival 2017 – Shining with Marble Mountains is the most expected international event, lasting from 30/4 to 24/6/2017. To increase the attractiveness and bring more experience to the festival, the Organization Board has just released 24 supporting events, which promises the most exciting summer with the DIFF- Shining with Marble Mountains mark.

International Food Festival – The Five- Element Cuisine

Opening time: 06:00 – 22:00 (24/4 – 30/6/2017)

Location: West Bank of Han river – North of Nguyen Van Troi bridge

There will be 5 different areas at the food festival representing 5 different elements from Eastern culture: Fire (grilled, pan-fried dishes), Earth (dishes prepared in earthernware pots), Metal (cold dishes used with metal chop sticks), Water (hot-pots, soups and noodle soups), and Wood (vegetarian dishes with vegetables). Each area will be decorated with with music performances : Fire (drums and xyclophones), Earth (stone instruments), Metal (string instruments, gong instruments) and Water (flutes).

Communal Cultural Corner

Opening time: 08:00- 22:00 (19/5 – 4/6/2017)

Location: Bien Dong Park – Pham Van Dong street

The corners of 8 participating nations in DIFF 2017 are probably the most exciting part of Communal Cultural Corner this time, with the diverse settings and traditional music. In addition, the corner will display sourvenirs, traditional cuisine and photo gallery of Danang for all visitors. Every night is filled with bartender art performance, folk games and music performances, satisfying all the locals and international guests.

Street Festival

Time: Every Friday night from 5/5 to 23/6/2017

Locations: Main streets in city center

9 flower cars representing 8 participating nations and Danang will be decorated. Accordingly, each will show the cultural highlights of each country, with sounds, lights, entertainers and a LED with the country’s images. In addition, there will be some performances and greetings between the entertainers and the audience.

Moreover, there are regular weekend events in Danang such as Street Music, Arrangement Arts Performance, Street Art, Street Dance Festival … to welcome all tourists and leave the most memorable experiences of Danang International Fireworks Festival – Shining with Marble Mountains.
