On the night of 30/04/2018, in Danang, the well-known Danang International Fireworks Festival –DIFF 2018 – “Legends of the bridges” officially started and once again rocked the city with colorful performances from Team Vietnam and Team Poland, together with a well-designed art show.

With the theme “Bridge of love”, the night has started a series of 5 performance nights from 30/4 to 30/6, writing a story of love and passion, inspiring the audience with the magic of music and lights.
The dramatic change from Team Vietnam and the impressive performance of Team Poland have created an exciting party of fireworks, music and dance.
With the beginning of Danang summer and the excitement of thounsands of audience, the water show started the ceremony with great impression , on the imposing stage of DIFF2018, bringing surprise after surprise for the enjoyers. In the drums roll, the flag ceremony with the participation of more than 100 artists from Vietnam and overseas, led by the powerful voices of Thao Trang and Duong Hoang Yen, and the video clip of DIFF created lively images of the meeting of 8 countries exchanging and connecting their cultures and friendships, right at the lively city Danang.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Chairman of Danang People’s Committee – Mr Huynh Duc Tho confirmed: ”Continuing the success of 2017, DIFF 2018 has come back with new excitement, creating different performances up to the expectations of our delegates and audiences. With the competitve and professional performances of the best nations of fireworks reputation, DIFF2018 will create a colorful, festive occasion with new, endless experiences for locals and tourists to Danang.”
Coming to DIFF2018 on the 10th anniversary of Danang International Fireworks Festival, Team Vietnam has an intense preparation with new, exciting features of technology, storyline and performing methods. Choosing special effects and specific music, from romantic ballads to exciting tunes, the performance of Team Vietnam with different shapes of fireworks from the height of 60 meters has illustrated different emotions of love, painting a picture of the nation: peaceful, with global intergration and a bright future ahead.
At the same time, Team Poland has brought the audience to the world of music and joy, with the power of pop and rock. 25 pieces of music, perfectly arranged in 20 minutes with the colorfulness of high and mid-level fireworks have made the audience dance and enjoy the show with all of their senses in excitement.
Besides the well-designed, meaningful performances full of love and patriotism such as “Dat nuoc loi ru” by Hong Nhung or “Ho Bien” by Tung Duong, DIFF also gives the big impression this year with documentaries on the bridges of Danang, of Team Vietnam and Team Poland, introducing to international tourists and friends worldwide to Danang – the city of the bridges, of youth and of development.
Hundres of artists from different theaters in provinces of Vietnam and many young talented such as OPLUS, Dong Hung, Thao Dung… have rocked the atmosphere of the fireworks night with international songs and the traitional Polish dance Mazurka.
The sky was bright and the Han river was extra romantic with the fireworks from Vietnam and Poland. The opening ceremony of DIFF has set the start for the next shows of DIFF, lasting for 2 months with many exciting supporting events, promising to bring tourists and locals a summer full of experiences and lovely surprises.

With the heart for a great 10th anniversary, DIFF2018 will not only bring new, exciting activities to tourists to Danang, but also make a step towards the ambition of making Danang the fireworks city of the world./.
Danang International Fireworks Festival DIFF 2018 begins on 30/4/2018 and will last in two months till 30/6/2018, with the participation of 8 teams: Vietnam, Poland, France, USA, Italy, Hong Kong, Sweden and Portugal.
With the theme “Legends of the bridges”, the festival includes 5 competing nights with 5 different topics: Love, Time, Happiness, Passion and Friendship. The opening night is on 30/4/2018, others will be on 26/5/2018 (France and USA), 02/06/2018 (Italy and Hong Kong), and 09/6/2018 (Sweden and Portugal). The best two teams will be competing for championship on the finale and awarding night on 30/6/2018.
There are also many supporting events for DIFF2018 such as Street Carnival Festival 2018 with 12 flower cars representing 12 bridges of Danang and 8 competing teams, Food Festival with hundreds of different dishes from different provinces of Vietnam…etc.
